Dear Tulane Community,
If you have ever attended a Tulane commencement, you know how magical they are with the pomp, the circumstance, the music and the movement of a new generation of Tulanians to the next stage of their lives.
This magic, of course, does not happen by magic. It takes scores of volunteers working to bring thousands of details, both major and minor, together in perfect harmony. From securing seats for graduates and grandparents to making sure that the band plays on time, the beach balls drop and the second line never stops, we need you to send our graduates off in true New Orleans style.
Besides having a great time with your colleagues and knowing you played a vital role in an event covered by media worldwide, you will also receive a special commemorative Commencement 2016 shirt, two tickets to the fabulous Wave Goodbye celebration, breakfast and lunch on Commencement day and an appreciation party at the Rock n' Bowl.
So please register to be a Commencement 2016 volunteer. The graduates and families of the Class of 2016 and I need you to work your magic.
