Dear Tulane Community:
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. You might remember that right before the break I mentioned there was news on the horizon that would make all of us at Tulane feel more grateful. Since then, many of you have made numerous inquiries and guesses as to what this news might entail.
I still can’t reveal the specifics, but at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8, I will announce the kickoff of a capital campaign that will transform Tulane. It will boost our pioneering research, increase the diversity of our student body, help us recruit and retain the world’s best faculty and create a learning and teaching environment that emphasizes innovation and civic engagement. It will even change the physical appearance of our campuses.
I will give plenty more details on our plan (which will only be a success with the help of you and Tulanians everywhere) at next Friday's announcement, which will be streamed live here.
