Dear Tulane Community:
This weekend members of the Class of 2025 will take their first steps as new Tulanians. Move-in is a time-honored tradition that never disappoints. The excitement and joy of students are palpable, the pride of parents is unmistakable – the smiles run from ear to ear and the tears flow. Our team from Housing and Residence Life, along with student and staff volunteers from throughout the university, will ensure that the newest members of our academic family receive a warm Wave welcome and a smooth transition to their new home.
With more than 95 percent of our students vaccinated and with indoor mask requirements and other safety protocols in place, we are taking the necessary precautions to protect the health of our students, faculty and staff, as well as that of our neighbors. We can’t wait for our first-year and returning students to move in and begin a new academic year filled with endless opportunities to learn, discover and grow.
Please welcome our first-year students who will move in between Aug. 15 and Aug. 18 and our returning students who will move in between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21.
