It’s Time for Fall Move-In!

Dear Tulane Community:

The weather may still say “summer,” but the fall semester is just around the corner!

We kick off Fall Move-In on Sunday, welcoming the Class of 2028 to their new homes. You’ll see staff members zipping around the uptown campus on golf carts strategically laden with lamps, luggage, musical instruments, and smiling first-year students. Our returning students will join us a few days later, happily reuniting with friends after a summer away.

New students in our graduate and professional programs are also making their way to New Orleans, acclimating to the rich cuisine, the streetcar schedule, and the subtropical climate. Like our undergraduates, they chose Tulane for its unique academic strengths, its relational culture, and the endless research possibilities offered by the university and the Gulf South region.

I fondly remember my first few days and weeks at Tulane when I arrived ten years ago. A lot has changed in a decade, but the Tulane spirit hasn’t: I know our students will find the same kind of welcoming, supportive environment that I stepped into.

Please join me in giving a hearty Green Wave welcome to the newest members of our Tulane family.

Roll Wave!
