I'm no matchmaker, but I do know a great way to show your love and double your support for student scholarships, life-saving research, innovative teaching and all the good work that Tulane does both locally and throughout the world.
That's what Give Green, Tulane's second annual 24-hour day of giving, is all about. Any gift of any size made by staff, faculty, students, alumni, parents – from anyone who loves our university – can make a huge difference in building the Tulane of tomorrow.
On Give Green 2019, which will take place March 19, gifts to any part of Tulane will make a greater impact thanks to matching funds pledged by generous donors.
Plus, The Big Green Grand Prize, sponsored by the Hertz family, will award bonus funds in the form of additional dollars to schools and units that raise the highest number of gifts during Give Green. Consider it a friendly competition in which the Tulane family wins every time.
Last year, more than 1,900 Tulanians contributed nearly a half-million dollars through Give Green.
We were overwhelmed with gratitude and with the difference a day could make. The rate of participation in Give Green is a clear sign that the Tulane community is behind the goals of Only the Audacious and shares our audacity to go even further this year and reach ever higher.

I have personally pledged a major campaign gift to support scholarships and will match the gift amount pledged by the graduating class of 2019 as part of my Give Green participation.
