Employee Appreciation

Dear Tulane Community:

The key to success for any university is the quality of its people – students, faculty and staff – who are at the very heart of every institutional advancement, achievement and aspiration. The Tulane community fills me with optimism for our university’s future, inspires me and makes me grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside the best of the best.

Time and again, dedicated Tulanians like you have made extraordinary efforts – especially over the last two years – to serve our students, further our mission, deepen our impact and make us a greater force for good in our city and world. In the face of unprecedented public health threats, severe weather and other challenges, you continue to rise above and beyond to keep us safe and propel us ever forward in supporting and pursuing teaching, research, world-changing discoveries, life-changing service and more.

I could never thank Team Tulane enough, and hosting a single day dedicated to employee appreciation simply won’t do. That is why I am declaring Nov. 14 through Nov. 18, Employee Appreciation Week. This special time of celebration and acknowledgment will include the announcement of an additional Floating Holiday, giveaways, raffles, wellness programming, a spirit contest and so much more, including a free ticket for each employee and a free ticket for up to five of their family members to the Nov. 17 football game between the nationally ranked Green Wave and the SMU Mustangs in Yulman Stadium. More details on Employee Appreciation Week will be sent to you soon, but in the meantime be sure to reserve your free tickets now for what is fast becoming one of the city’s hottest sports tickets:

The deadline to reserve your tickets is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.

I can’t wait to cheer the Green Wave on to victory and applaud you and your contributions to our great university during Employee Appreciation Week and all year long.
