Dear Tulane Community:
Boo!
Are you scared yet? If not, you soon will be when the Ghoulman Stadium Spooktacular kicks off today at 3 p.m. with trick-or-treating in the Family Zone of Tailgate Village on the LBC quad. Tulane men's and women's basketball team members will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters of all ages, as will Green Wave fans throughout Tailgate Village.
The Spooktacular will also feature music by the Phunky Monkeys, giveaways and New Orleans' Largest Costume Contest. Contest winners will be selected on the field during the game. I am putting the finishing touches on my costume right now. I'm going as...well, you will have to come join the fun to find that out.
All of this is in preparation for the Green Wave's Halloween night matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats. New Orleans is one of the country's capitals for Halloween celebrations and tonight you will see why.
So come out and enjoy fun, football and family time on a beautiful fall night.
