Dear Tulane Community:
Are you ready to meet the newest Tulanians?
Fall Move-In kicks off on Sunday, when the Class of 2027 will begin moving into their new homes on the uptown campus. Over the course of three days, more than 1,800 first-year students will fill our residence halls — meeting roommates, rearranging furniture, hanging posters and family photos. They’ll soon be followed by our returning students, some of whom will be the very first residents of the brand-new River and Lake Residence Halls.
Our first-year students are beginning an academic and personal journey unlike any they have experienced before. The residential college experience brings together scholars from across the globe, from vastly different backgrounds and walks of life, to live together and learn together in a uniquely immersive way. For many, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to form deep connections with a cohort of people from different backgrounds and perspectives, with different interests and passions.
Over the next four years, these students will explore their growth edges with newfound confidence, supported by their peers and our incredible faculty and staff. They will achieve things they haven’t even dreamed of yet, and we — and the world — will be better for it.
Please join me in rolling out the green carpet as we welcome the newest members of the Tulane family.
Roll Wave!
