A Working Session to End Sexual Misconduct

Dear Tulane Community:

The conversation, the commitment and the work must continue.

I invite students to join me and other university leaders as we gather for a working session to continue our efforts to find answers in our action plan to end sexual misconduct at Tulane.

We will brainstorm in roundtable discussions about workable solutions with the Provost and top leadership from the offices of Student Affairs, Gender and Sexual Diversity, Multicultural Affairs, Fraternity and Sorority Programs, TUPD, Title IX and more.

While those in charge at the highest level of academic and student life will be present, the most important attendees, the most essential source for ideas and the leaders of the new direction we should take, will be you. We need you to help us create an environment at Tulane in which everyone is welcomed and safe from the threat of sexual misconduct in all its forms. We need your ideas on how we can improve our current efforts. We need your energy and innovation to help show us what new initiatives we should undertake.

This discussion, which will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on March 5 in the Qatar Ballroom on the second floor of the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, will be the perfect opportunity to workshop your boldest, most daring and groundbreaking ideas and approaches. Please RSVP for this event at http://tulane.edu/wave-of-change/march-5-rsvp.

And please attend. We need you.
